Liberty Rotary Club’s own Jaime Schmeiser was one of the women selected to be featured in this year’s Sullivan County Democrat publication “Honoring Professional Women and Women in Business” for her work as President of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce.
As Jaime states in the Democrat’s article, she is “humbled and honored to have the opportunity to advance the mission of the Chamber and assist, support, promote and advocate on behalf of Sullivan County’s business community.” She further explains “I love making a difference in my community and working for a Chamber of Commerce gives me the ability to assist so many different organizations and businesses.”
In addition to her duties as President of the Sullivan County Chamber, Jaime works extensively to support and promote the efforts of the Liberty Rotary Club. Her dedication to our club’s mission and its efforts locally and globally has been exceptional. Jaime has proven to be a great Rotarian. Beyond her work directly connected to Rotary, Jaime has played an active role in Habitat for Humanity, Main Street USA, Economic Partnership, Head Start and Suicide Prevention. She has also served on county committees for Workforce Development, Physical Accessibility, the census and Sneak Peek Sullivan.
We are pleased and proud to call Jaime a member of our club and appreciative of all the good work she does through the chamber and our Rotary club.
