Barbara and Peter Blakey Raise Funds for S.T.E.P.

Barbara and Peter Blakey are happy to report that they have surpassed their goal and raised over $3,000 for STEP(Schools to End Poverty) and will be able to make a donation of more than 10 wheelchairs in Vietnam, bicycles and a generous donation of rice to an orphanage in great need.  There are already 7 children scheduled to receive the  wheelchairs, many of whom have spent the bulk of their lives lying down and never seen the world from an upright position.  Barbara and Peter look forward to their journey to Vietnam, where they will see first hand the incredible good their fundraising efforts will do.  We wish them great success on this outstanding humanitarian effort and are very proud to call them Liberty Rotarians.
